As a pastor, I have lead several congregations covering four different church districts for the past thirteen years in ministry.

 

1. I lead these churches in increasing their membership.
2. I have conducted major crusades and revival meetings
3. I helped renovate an entire church building and helped them increased in their membership
4. I secured a mortgage loan to pay off a church first mortgage.
5. I conduct board meetings, elders’ meetings and budget meetings.
6. I laid out a vision for church renovation and soul reconstruction and transformation.
7. In school setting, for several years, I ran the technology department at my school by maintaining, trouble shooting, reparing and ordering technology hardware and software.
8. Applying for technology grants to purchase technology tools and equipment.

My process of innovations comes in the form of learning new things and acquiring new knowledge from different spectrum of education. I love knowledge and use learning as a form of innovation. The PhD in educational management gives me a new perspective through the lens which I perceive life and education. My educational journey would be incomplete without a doctoral degree and even more without a PhD in the respective field of my career.

My innovation started from acquiring an Associate degree and now to a PhD. Through the PhD program I learned how to identify, describe, explain, conceptualize, analyze, synthesize and bring about results through different problem solving strategies. Innovation is important, it is the key to educational change and effective leadership. Innovation brings about new products, new ways of thinking, and new ways of doing things for success and better achievement both individually and collectively. It is my objective to use this doctoral PhD to bring about change and innovations through different lenses of education.

I am able to transfer my God-given ability to better my life and the life of others. The things that I have learned in college and at the university level, I am able to transfer them to a greater use. All the college courses and all the training received, I am able to use both educationally and religiously. When it comes to technology, throughout my 231/2 years of teaching career, I have been able to pass on to the next generation the knowledge that was imparted to me through teaching.  I am able to do the same at the religiously level where I get to teach and preach people, lead people and serve people and preparing them for the kingdom of God. I call that a transfer of knowledge by imitation and by example. I plan to transfer both of my doctoral knowledge to human kinds to help bring about better understanding of the true knowledge of the true God through writting of articles and books and presentations using various media sources.

My personal contribution comes in the form of personal investment that I made in the system of education here in New York City public school. It also comes in the form of personal financial contribution to different organizations that requested monetary funds to help subsidize children’s education in foreign countries like Haiti.

I have also made personal plea to my church constituents and encourage them to support these organizations that go above and beyond to help the less fortunate. My goal after completing this PhD program is to create an organization to help the poor the and the less fortunate. To help and provide educational means through financial and economic assistance to those who desire to acquire an education but are unable to due to the lack of financial means.
