Competence 8 – – Research Methodology III & VI

This course emphasized the different components of the research study including the methodology. Scientific research requires the observation and measurement of variables through statistical analysis by quantitative means. Skills are to be further developed that promote the rational and efficient use of measuring instruments. It provides a quantitative approach to the creation of measurement instruments, by analyzing theoretical information on the construction of instruments, in addition to facing the student to the construction process.

Auto Diagnosis

Self-diagnostic: I learned how to design, analyze and formulate the research methodology with all its different sections which includes the introduction, type of investigation, population, sample, measuring instruments, variables, instrument development, instrument validity, operational of the variables, research null hypothesis, operational of hull hypothesis, data collection and data analysis. I also learned how to create or purchased a research instrument. SPSS analysis instrument was taught and explained as a means to explain data that were to be collected. Emphasis was put on the importance of the collection of the data within a specific time frame from participants. Theoretical explanation was given on how to study and interpret the data.
