I have had great experiences of collaboration working with different administrators and staff. For many years I was responsible for the technology department at my school. I was responsible to order and purchase technology equipment for the school. I had great collaboration from co-workers in making sure that whatever was requested and required of them was made available on a monthly and yearly basis. I will get their feedback on how to make technology more relevant and satisfying to the students that we served. The administrative staff, principal, assistant principal and secretary, trusted me in preparing budgets to purchase technology tools. I was even trusted in applying for grants in order to get more funding for technology in our school.

For mentoring, I got to mentor many co-workers to become better at their teaching craft. I have also mentored others in acquiring their higher education degrees and finding ways to secure their certifications and licenses. I coached people to better themselves educationally, socially and spiritually. I mentored people to aim higher in their educational pursuit.

The spirit of collaboration that I had throughout my teaching career has given me great collaborative skills on how to work and collaborate with others. In an educational setting, it is not always easy to find individuals who want to collaborate and cooperate with you. I thank God that for many years I was able to have a good experience at that capacity level. As I become a church leader I learned and continued the same spirit of collaboration with the staff and individuals that are working with me perfecting the kingdom of God on earth before Jesus comes. I see them as co-partners and co-laborers of Christ. I made myself available to them and provide them with the means for true collaboration through meaningful interaction and understanding. As I go to higher level in my educational career, I plan to further an even greater spirit of collaboration among all my future co-laborers in Christ.

For future collaboration and mentoring I suggest and recommend the following:

1. Have a spirit of openess.
2. Understand the need for true collaboration for school and organizational effectiveness.
3. Set the example in collaborating with others.
4. Promote a spirit of collaboration among all workers
5. Provide the means for true and sincere collaboration among staff.
6. Make mentoring the key tosuccess within the school culture
