This course examines a framework to address the emerging issues and trends in administration and curriculum that have the potential to significantly influence the future direction of education. It describes how the educational leader can address emerging issues and trends, build the necessary leadership competence to respond to these issues and trends, and develop into a more accountable leader who can deal effectively with the need for school reform.
Auto Diagnosis
Self-diagnostic: I have learned through that whatever can be done to bring about change and innovation, whether its in the curriculum, the school vision, teacher leadership and teaching delivery, or other areas, must be done. It is the only way to change the status quo and to accept, adapt and bring new educational trends to the school establishment. Example, I learned that the only way to deal with the new trend of school violence is through the practice of the law of God by bringing back the Bible into the classroom.
